Ohh.. where has the summer gone! It feels like fall is already here in Calgary. We haven’t been able to enjoy the last blast of summer due to the smoke from the BC fires. We are now experiencing a cold snap of weather that really gives fall feels. To be honest I plan on holding onto summer as long as possible! To feel those summer vibes again, I decided to make a very light and refreshing Rosé Sangria.
I find making sangria is super easy and you can use fruits that are already in your fridge. Whipping up a batch takes no time at all! I prefer my sangria to be slightly chilled, and would suggest leaving it to chill so that the juices have time to infuse into the fruit, making it even tastier!
One thing that I love about sangria is that you can change the recipe by the season. I kept this one very light and refreshing for the end of summer. A fall inspired recipe could be an apple sangria using an apple liquor and topped off with apple slices and pomegranate seeds. For winter you could use cranberries with blood oranges… the possibilities are endless!

That is it my friends, it is super easy and so tasty! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Now onto the next drink I publish… not sure if I should do a winter-style sangria or do something more holiday inspired… maybe mulled wine which brings back fond memories of the markets in London…. I guess you have to wait and see!
This sangria recipe sounds easy and love the looks! I’m definitely going to try it 😋
Let me know how it works out!
