CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS – GIN INSPIRED

I still can’t believe it is almost Christmas! My favourite season of the year! With the holiday season just around the corner, I wanted to share some super easy and very tasty gin Christmas cocktails. Eau Claire Distillery is an Alberta-based distillery that uses local ingredients to create their spirits. This year they have two limited-edition gins that will get you right into that holiday mood. Christmas Gin and Gin Rummy are a must this season for your Christmas cocktails.

EASY GIN CHRISTMAS COCKTAILS

Both of these recipes are super easy to do… trust me, I am no mixology expert, and if I can do it, so can you. These Christmas cocktails will have your guests impressed! The base to both drinks is the gin, I really like that you just need very few ingredients that are easy to put together. Accompanying the cocktails is some gorgeous barware. I am just in love with the copper-plated barware set from Fifth & Vermouth. The barware set provides your essentials for all your mixing needs. They offer sets in different colors, as well as everything you need for your bar at home. I found that the copper-plated set worked very well with my Christmas theme, and showcased the cocktails beautifully.

Dark & Stormy

Course Drinks

Servings 1 serving

Ingredients

• 2 oz Eau Claire Distillery Gin Rummy
• 3 oz Ginger Beer or Ginger Kombucha
• 1/2 oz Lime juice

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice.

2. Stir and garnish with a lime (optional).

Gin Rummy & Nog

Ingredients

• 2 oz Eau Claire Distillery Gin Rummy
• 1 oz Amaro
• Egg nog

Instructions

1. Pour Gin Rummy and amaro into a glass over ice.

2. Add egg nog as desired.

3. Stir and garnish with  cinnamon stick or shaved chocolate.

These are just a few of the recipes that you can make with the Eau Claire Distillery gins. Both cocktails were so delicious and anyone can make them.
