Well here we are… In London, my second home. London in my eyes is one of the most photogenic cities. Having lived in London for a few years really helped me create this London instagram spots map. Coming from a former Londoner, let me share with you the most instagrammable places in London. This includes the most photographed houses, restaurant and shops.
The pictures are in no particular order, to find out the location of where the below pictures are from make sure to check out my Instagram.
LONDON INSTAGRAM NEIGHBOURHOODS
London has some beautiful neighbourhoods… Let’s start with that! Each area has its own charm and is instagrammable in its own way. There are so many amazing neighbourhoods but I will go into a little detail about the bigger ones.
I spent a lot of my time in Notting Hill and came to know the neighbourhood quite well. I might have a biased opinion because I lived in the area, but out of all of the neighbourhoods I would have to say it was my favourite… Mainly because of all the pink houses and the cute shops! On Fridays and Saturdays the Portobello Market is up, and it is great to explore. You can find some amazing vintage items as well as grab a bite.
South Kensington offers a great mix of it all, houses, restaurants and shops. The spots in this area are a bit more spread out, but you get it all. It has great flower shops as well as the insta-famous bakery Peggy Porschen. The street where the bakery is located is so adorable. All the shops put on such amazing displays and change with the seasons. All the displays keep making you want to come back time after time to take more pictures. Do make sure to grab a treat from either Peggy or Dominique if you are craving something sweet.
The Covent Garden area is a goldmine for your restaurant and shop-grams. In every corner you turn there is something to take a picture of. I love how close together the locations are because you get to see so many amazing places in a short distance. I do suggest trying out the pubs and restaurants as well if you can. Lina Stores is not only the cutest restaurant ever but their menu is so heavenly… kid you not when I first tried it, I might have had three plates of pasta because it was that good. #dontjudge
East London has the BEST flower market ever! well… to me it does hehe. The Columbia Road Flower Market is a must… at least once. While living in London I only went once; the amounts of flowers are endless… and so are the masses of people! They bring in so many different kinds of flowers that you will want to buy them all. It is incredible how many flowers you will see and learn about. East London also has a great selection of vintage cars. Make sure to walk around the area (not just the market) and find some cars. The gorgeous pink and peach sister doors are close by too. If you are in luck the cat might be out posing!
